Looking for Guidance? These Faith-Filled Voices Can Help
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
-2 Timothy 3: 16-17

There are so many voices online—it can be hard to know who’s really rooted in truth and who’s just saying what sounds good. Over the years, I’ve found a few people who consistently point me back to Jesus, Scripture, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. These aren’t just popular names—they’re people who walk in humility, wisdom, and clarity. If you’re learning to discern what’s true and stay anchored in God’s Word, these are voices I trust and would truly recommend.
1. Lisa Harper (@lisadharper)
When I was a baby Christian (hah—who are we kidding, I still am), I clung to Lisa’s testimony. Her life is soaked in stories of deliverance, hope in the waiting, and promises fulfilled after tear-filled, heartbroken cries to the Lord. She helped me believe that God sees, hears, and moves—especially in the waiting.
2. Kaci Nicole (@kacinicole)
Kaci has such a gentleness about her that makes Scripture feel approachable. Her Bible studies are thoughtful, grounded, and peaceful. I often find that her soft-spoken teaching style lets truth settle deeper into my spirit.
3. Kanoe Gibson (@kanoegibson)
Kanoe’s walk with God is marked by deep surrender. You can feel that she’s been through seasons where she had to let go of her own plans, and what came out of it was pure obedience. I find my spirit feels at rest in her presence—like it recognizes the beauty of someone who’s learned to sit with Jesus through the hard.
4. Megan Fate Marshman (@meganfate)
Megan is a newer find for me—but such a gift. Her trust in God and her willingness to fully surrender her life to Him shines through her teaching. She is a disciple of Christ who has clung to Jesus during her grief and suffering. I appreciate her realness, her sense of humor, and deep love of the Lord. I’ve found peace listening to her talk about God’s character, especially in life’s “in-between” moments.
5. Priscilla Shirer (@priscillashirer)
Okay, I’ll be honest—Priscilla is a yeller, and that can feel like a lot for me. But goodness, does she speak truth. Her boldness and conviction challenge me, and I often find myself sitting with her words long after the message ends. She reminds me that conviction can be a superpower. (Have you checked out her analogy of the Lion King? It is just SO good!)
6. Women of Faith on TBN
So many of the women who have helped shape my faith have sat on the Women of Faith panel. I especially adore the host—there’s something so meek and steady about her. She speaks with truth and kindness, and you can tell she’s fiercely in love with Jesus. That mix of gentleness and conviction is something I deeply admire.
7. Mark Hall (Casting Crowns)
If you’ve read my testimony, you know Mark Hall holds a special place in my heart. His example of chasing after Jesus—through health battles and leadership—is powerful. His songs aren’t just lyrics to me; they’re prayers that carried me through some of my hardest seasons.
8. Eagles Landing Baptist Church
This church has held such a special place in my journey. It’s not just a building—it’s a space where truth is spoken, Scripture is honored, and hearts are called to surrender. The teachings here have helped sharpen my discernment and anchor me in the Word. I’ve been challenged, encouraged, and reminded over and over that the voice of God is often found where His truth is faithfully preached.
9. Steve Angrisano
It might seem funny to some since Steve is Catholic, but I truly believe God speaks through anyone who’s willing to follow Him and testify of who He is. When I was teaching, I attended a Faith Day where Steve was the keynote speaker—and I’ll never forget it. He testified truth the entire morning, and it was so spiritually filling. His song “I Am the Bread of Life” has become one I play over and over. Steve knows about surrender. You can hear it in the way he speaks and sings. He reminds me that God is always inviting us into that holy place with Him.
10. Pastor Rick Warren
I really appreciate a lot of what Pastor Rick Warren shares in his book The Purpose Driven Life. His words are rooted in Scripture and speak with God’s truth. One of the things I love most about Pastor Rick is his heart for unity in the body of Christ. He’s been clear that God’s love isn’t reserved for just one denomination or group of people — God loves all His children whom He has created. I believe that wholeheartedly.
As a mom, I don’t have a “favorite” child. I love each of my children uniquely and deeply, but I love them equally. One doesn’t outweigh the other — they are all precious to me. And I truly believe that’s how our Heavenly Father sees us too.
Some of Pastor Rick’s thoughts invite me to pause, pray, and seek further understanding — and that’s a good thing. He consistently points people back to God and reminds us that even in deep sorrow and loss, joy can be found in Him.
But wait- The best voice to follow is Jesus!!
Edited a day later:
After publishing this post, I felt the Holy Spirit gently drawing me back to it — because He wasn’t finished. There was more He wanted me to say and testify of.
While it is important to find godly voices and faithful disciples of Christ to learn from, it’s even more important to remember this:
The voice we need to hear most clearly and most often is God’s.
He knows us.
He knows our circumstances, our thoughts, our hurts, our hopes — our everything.
And He loves us perfectly.
Only Jesus can truly guide us with the kind of wisdom, grace, and care our souls long for. Only His voice can navigate us through the noise of this world with absolute truth and unconditional love.
So yes — seek out faithful teachers. Listen to voices that point you to Scripture and stir your hunger for God. But even more than that, seek Him.
In your searching for clarity, for comfort, for deeper understanding…
Come back to the One whose voice you can trust completely.
The One who never misleads.
The One who willingly and readily sits with the outcast and broken.
The One who knows your name and calls you His own.
